Goodwood Revival

My first time shooting the Goodwood Revival and what an experience.

The attention to detail that you expect from a landmark Goodwood event is evident wherever you look, starting with the ‘maintenance’ crew who welcomed those of us who were there as the gates opened.

The Mechanics

The mechanics get into the swing of things, dressing up in period overalls, taking you back in time. With a full set of races and sizeable grids cars are constantly moving around the paddocks and mechanics wielding tools.

The Paddocks

A tradition at the Goodwood events is the access to the paddocks for members, the ability to get up close and personal to the race cars and their teams.

Racing

For many, the racing is what brings them to the Goodwood Revival. Seeing vintage cars screaming around the circuit, racing each other, full pelt.

Spectators line the course to catch the action.

The sprinkles

On the other hand, for others it is all about the return to a less complicated time, one where you danced and had the time to spend with good friends.

You are encouraged to take part, and many do.
